The Montreal Baroque Festival is an annual event in which Charles is usually involved.
The Stour Music Festival also takes place annually, usually at about the same time as the Montreal Baroque Festival... but Charles has been known to fly straight back from Canada to appear at Stour.
Charles makes regular appearances and recordings with the Retrospect Ensemble (formerly known as the King's Consort).
He also does a great deal of concert and recording work with De Nederlandse Bachvereniging (The Netherlands Bach Society). Their website is mostly bilingual, though there are some sections in Dutch only.
In April 2009, Charles did a concert with Hendrik Bouman, the outstanding Dutch harpsichordist. They hope to do further concerts together in the future; please keep an eye on our concerts page for details!
Charles is a regular soloist with the Woodmansterne Collection. After a long break from concert performances due to the refurbishment of St Albans Cathedral, they are now back in action, and Charles appeared with them in a performance of Bach's St Matthew Passion in March 2010.
Charles officially left the Orlando Consort several years ago, but he still works with them from time to time.
